Select Rural or Urban

Enter Aadhaar Number

Verify Eligibility

Install and Open App
After downloading:

Start New Farmer Registration
On the app home screen:
- Look for "New Farmer Registration" option

OTP Verification

Fill Registration Details
Complete all sections of the registration form on the app:
- Personal Information: Name, date of birth, gender, father's/husband's name

Common status messages and their meanings:
- "Payment Under Process": Your installment is currently being processed by the system. The amount should be credited to your bank account within 2-3 working days. No action required from your side.
- "eKYC Pending": You must complete eKYC (Aadhaar verification) immediately to receive payments. Visit the eKYC section on the portal or nearest CSC to complete this mandatory step.
- "Aadhaar Authentication Failure": There is a name mismatch between your Aadhaar card and registration details. You need to correct your name to match exactly with Aadhaar or update your Aadhaar name at enrollment center.
- "Bank Details Rejected": Your bank account number or IFSC code is incorrect, or there's a name mismatch with your Aadhaar. Update your bank details immediately through the portal or CSC.

- "FTO Generated": Fund Transfer Order has been generated. Payment will be credited within 24-48 hours.
- "Aadhaar Seeding Pending": Your Aadhaar is not properly linked to your bank account. Visit your bank branch immediately to complete Aadhaar seeding.
- "Invalid Account": The bank account number you provided is invalid or closed. Update with correct active bank account details.
- "Name Mismatch with Aadhaar": The name in your registration doesn't match your Aadhaar card exactly. Even spelling differences can cause this. Correction needed.
Check Payment History
In the status page, scroll down to view complete payment history:
- View all installments from 1st to current (21st installment as of now)
- Each entry shows: Installment number, Payment date, Transaction ID/UTR number, Amount (₹2,000)
- If any installment shows "Pending" or "Rejected", note the reason mentioned
- Green checkmark indicates successful payment
- Red cross indicates rejected or failed payment
- Yellow warning indicates payment under process or correction needed

If you've missed previous installments due to incomplete eKYC or other issues, complete all pending corrections immediately. Once your details are verified and eKYC is complete, you'll receive future installments. However, missed past installments are generally not paid retroactively unless there was a system error.
Online self-registration on pmkisan.gov.in is completely FREE. If registering at CSC or through operators, there's a nominal service fee of ₹15-30. Never pay more than ₹50. The scheme itself is free, and all benefits go directly to farmers without any deductions.
